New Feature: Gradebook

We take product feedback seriously here at Lessonly. One of the things we heard again and again from our customers was that while creating and assigning lessons was incredibly easy in our application, getting one quick view of who has taken what and how they did was less than ideal. Today we’ve changed that with the release of our Gradebook.

Gradebook was created with a single goal: give stakeholders an easy way to quickly see who has taken a group of lessons, and what they scored.
This new feature can be used a few different ways:

1. General review

The simplest way to use to your gradebook is to click on the link located in the navigation. From there you’ll have access to your entire gradebook, where you can filter down which lessons and groups of people you want to see.

2. Lesson review

From the lesson overview page, you’ll now see a gradebook icon that you can click on. When you click on that link, it will take you to a pre-filtered report only showing that particular lesson and the people who have taken it.

3. Person/group review

Like the lesson overview page, a person or groups overview page also has a gradebook icon that will show you a pre-filtered report of the lessons assigned to that person/group and their result.

Gradebook was built exactly like the rest of our application, giving the trainer the exact tools they need to succeed, and nothing more. Now, instead of relying on spreadsheets and guesses to determine who has taken training and how they did, you can quickly find exactly the information you need within Lessonly.

We are really excited about this new feature, and we’d love to hear what you think. If you have any feedback, let us know!
